Gestión Global has a presence in Miami through Gestion Global USA, Inc. (“Gestión Global Miami”). The opening of the Miami office comes as a natural step after providing services for more than 10 years to international clients. Gestion Global Miami provides operating advice and assistance to businesses and other organizations on administrative management issues. These services include financial planning and budgeting, equity and asset management, records management, strategic and organizational planning, new business start-up, and business process improvement, focusing on Chilean and Latin-American companies established in the USA. In this role, Gestion Global Miami assists these companies in establishing and developing their business in the United States, identifying business opportunities in their internationalization process.
Francisco Guzmán is the country manager of Gestión Global’s Miami office. He has more than fifteen years of professional experience in commercial and legal matters in Chile, focusing on the evaluation, planning, structuring and advice to Chilean and international companies, especially technological start-ups. Mr. Guzmán also is the Chairman of the Chilean Venture Capital Association, a not-for-profit entity gathering venture capital investors from Chile, including funds, family offices and corporate ventures. Mr. Guzmán studied 5 semesters of business school in Chile between 1997 to 1999, he holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (graduated in 2004) and is admitted to practice law in Chile since 2006. He also has a Master of Laws degree from Columbia Law School (2010) and is admitted to practice law in the state of New York since 2010.
